Aireese, torn between her love for Interealm and the humans and her birthright as the next queen of FaTerra, spent every waking hour fighting with her conflicting emotions.

Despite their lack of power, the humans both frighten and fascinate her, making her hesitant about her future role. If she were queen, visiting other realms was very rare. Her sister sacrificed her beliefs and even her own life to ensure Interealm would always be there; Aireese wasn’t about to let anything happen to it.

She doesn’t want a consort or multiple men in her life. She believes there is one person for everyone and that a connection can only be made with them, not multiple times.

If she were queen, things would have to change, but how do you begin to change millennia of tradition and rules? The first thing would be leaving FaTerra more than once a decade. After that, the consort thing for the queen was gone, too.

Heir to the FaTerra throne or not, she was going to do her part to save all the realms. All she has to do is figure out a way to do this without her mother blocking her magic forever.

For his entire life, Bohdi has watched and waited for the realms to unite once again. His family's legacy has always been to assist the other realms and do their part to keep the balance.

Finding out someone from all the realms, including his own, had conspired to end the way things were destined to be was a revelation he wished he hadn’t had. But it was impossible that someone in the Interealm watch group hadn’t known what was being planned. His family and most involved had always been part of it. He had to find a way to end the conspiracy. Doing anything less than that was unacceptable.

Keeping the entire population out of it was going to be a challenge when they had to search for magic objects that could be anywhere. If the unknowing population of his realm found out the truth, there would be no peace anywhere. He may not have magic and special abilities, but he had to try to end the insanity without losing his own.
