Fathered by the most hated man in the shifter world, Griffin is considered a half-breed and is welcome by neither the shifters nor one-forms. When he’s captured by the Alliance, he has the choice of remaining loyal to blood, despite loathing everything they represent, or helping the shifters and earning the chance of a life. All of his plans change when the animal his family suppressed for decades decides it’s time to take over and there is no going back to how Griffin was.

 

Blaise is a mutt in her community. A mixed breed shifter marked by a darker skin pigmentation for all to plainly see. Having a family and happily ever after has never been part of her plans, and she made sure it could never happen. She survived her cruel childhood and is content with her adult life.

 

The only thing she lives for is her job. As part of the Alliance’s Special Operations team, she spends her time on the road enforcing laws for her kind and bringing justice to those who break them. Her every moment for the last year has been bringing an end to the terrors her kind have faced at the hands of a human organization—anything and everything she can do to stop them, she will.

 

When she is sent to watch over someone the Alliance captured, her life takes an unplanned turn. This man is nothing like she thought he’d be. It becomes a struggle to keep him alive and out of the hands of those that will do anything to get him back, but she’s determined to keep him safe.
